Mastroberardino Radici Taurasi Riserva 1997

Mastroberardino Radici Taurasi Riserva 1997 is one of the best examples of red Italian who often gets overlooked this based on a DOCG. Taurasi, together with the Sagrantino di Montefalco is one of those great age, Red House power which should simply accept the loss of a great Italian ????????? varieties. Were any other country in which it Taurasi probably will be one of the jewels in its Crown, but the country in which Barolo and Brunello di Montalcino are so internationally lauded Taurasi, unfortunately, falling by the wayside. not so for indigenousness population.
This is a well known fact that Italians are prone to bouts of extreme campanilismo (translation: your own deep affection for the Bell Tower), that is, and eat drink and fruit ???????, believe that the best local only because it is not only the local Italian thing, we all do this, just like your mother Sunday Roasts are the best or ?????? Bolton are the best. For people missing big red Lazio, anywhere around the Rome I found serious red most popular my friends that has proudly on most lists a good restaurant, wine is Taurasi (yes even compared to Barolo), three million people rarely wrong not including Jedward fans.
However, this is not a simple home bias, Taurasi, at his best, the most beautiful example of Aglianico grape. Aglianico has a wonderful time of the rich volcanic soil Irpinia ??????? and Taurasi, high altitudes, Aglianico can produce one of the secrets of the world's best red wine can be kept in mind blowing over the remarkable ageing and beyond and radical changes through this curve ageing.
Three years standard Taurasi, but must be published after four Riserva.Wine can contain% less of the grape to another (usually Barbara).Mastroberardino Radici Taurasi Riserva is 100% Aglianico, considered one of the best of the year on year with Taurasi Gregorio Feudi San (reviewed last year) and Salvatore Molettieri.

Alois Lageder Cabernet Sauvignon no COR header Romigberg

Alois Lageder Cabernet Sauvignon mouth Romigberg

Alois Lageder is one of the major players on the map of the South Tyrol wine produced a large amount of quality wines and varied and affordable. The fifth generation of the same, one of the pioneers of bio does dynamic wine region is the latest Lageder.Like many manufacturers, Lageder region, buying grapes and their many local varietal wines one cheaper than most of these examples. fair wines at reasonable prices and good and a vast selection of grapes can attain complete mystery in South Tyrol are cool but sunny endlessly.

Single vineyard wines Lageder-grows along the lines produced a bio, the entire estate dynamic environment adapted to the level of solar panels with ?? propelling action.

Alois Cabernet Sauvignon Lageders Romigberg Fund is in fact and in South Tyrol. Although the area is blessed with a ridiculous amount of hours of sunshine, Cabernet Sauvignon is perhaps not one that springs to mind when the varieties we envisage the South Tyrol because Cabernet Sauvignon loves heat to ripen here full time. However, it is exceptional management of vines here, as well as a comprehensive analysis of grapes which produced cool climate without "green" Cabernet.

The vineyards are South of Romigberg Lageder packages, how many kilometers south of Bolzano, North of the town of Termeno. Nestled between Lake and mountain, is a little surprising then that-Cabernet Sauvignon has a very prominent vein of real, of minerality. What is a surprise is the fruit of ???????, spice notes floral wine offers. With only 3% Petit Verdot grapes as accompanying it looks likely THE PV is driving the fruit.

Romigberg Fund is the pride of the brand Lageder, spend 20 months in new French oak and two-thirds, followed by an additional 8. vine bottle before release are high density using the Guyot system trellising. Italy these wines come to market around a € 30 that, comparing the Tuscan Cabernet Sauvignons of this standard is a bargain. This is the classic Cabernet so cool climates not imagine the taste profile will be something like a taxi or the southern Italian blend.

Recently I had the opportunity to try ' 03, excellent vintage warm all over Italy played a part in reducing the standard wine minerality, gave further notice on fruit.Romigberg Fund is that leverage the cellaring wine in a more typical vintages, but with ' 03 I am glad to say drinking wine is beautiful at the end of 2009.

In 2007 Beaujolais

In 2007 Beaujolais

Now for something completely different. taste Beaujolais 2007 cancel, Morgon in front of my good friend with Fleurie and blogger wine, wine Sleuth.

An excellent way to finish off this final blog November as we run our Italian wine from your life away, only to focus on Beaujolais. moment a few days ago, I had two Beaujolais wines from the famous British wine company very Bruce Berry, RAD, and decided to do a blog of Beaujolais that never really covered here.

A quick round up, therefore, those who know the Beaujolais region.

Beaujolais is the southernmost region of Burgundy wine within the existing denominations. Beaujolais, Beaujolais cru 10 villages, Beaujolais, Beaujolais Superieur. Generally agreed that the best examples of Beaujolais cru regions arrive 10 each cru provides their own unique take on the Gamay (a grape which Beaujolais).

????????????? Beaujolais wines usually old fresh flavor can be set to light red wines, in most cases with a profile of the cherry fruit over riding. However each cru wines impart their own unique features 10 on wine, as can be seen in VT; for example, Morgon, while just down the road is also presenting Fleurie easily by loving myself and wine sleuth!

If you're hankering to log into the Beaujolais do you find that really difficult if not memorise cru 10 provinces as well. Many cru Beaujolais wines are marked "Beaujolais" at all, simply "Morgon" or "Fleurie". Here's a guide to help you ... and me and it's a chick American.
Quick Guide 10 Beaujolais Crus

Chiroubles- producing Beaujolais wines in one of the lightest and most elegant and the best of the bunch to be drunk young.
St-Amour Cru northernmost whose wines benefit several years age.Dull when young wines grow into spicy wines supple, with a few years on the clock.
Brouilly- largest of Beaujolais wine regions, are young ???????, best drunk as opposed ...
Cote de Brouilly-Beaujolais more concentrated, grapey, rich, beneficial from a while.
Fleurie- the Cru's most famous street following the Fleurie. wines have typically had flowered in aroma, cherry, raspberry, feminine style drinks.

Morgon- cru's second largest, perhaps the most complex and unique Beaujolais. Can fool you with gooseberry flavours that you expect from Beaujolais. terroir here is quite unlike ??????? slate and other market, this affects the wine.To be drunk young, there is no other wine fruitiness of Beaujolais in its youth.

Juliénas- cru consistent structure with a unique and distinctive fruit includes peach, raspberry blackcurrants.According to producer Juliénas can be drunk young or take several years to develop the full potential is.

C. Moulin mechanically- most stable, tannic, full bodied each cru Beaujolais. Moulin wines usually mechanically, the most expensive building tour with age and become their youth are examples of Beaujolais still excellent.

Chénas next-next to Moulin mechanically, wines need at least three years to develop and when they are doing is considered one of the most complex very perfumed Beaujolais wines.
Régnié-light, supple, a wonderful example of Beaujolais and the young. All the latest Beaujolais Crus (incorporated in 1988) can be a little wine Regnie varied style.

Ruby Red in color, a little wine begins a fool on the nose with basic spices, cherries one hour after the time of the wine opens large and all kinds of smells come blackberries including fore wet stones on the palate the wine is a bit ... bitter but with great texture, pH, gentle tannins, good structure and balance. a good example.Points 88

Ruby Red in color, identical to the nose the wine is simply a raspberry and hints of cherry. this profile is the same as the palate after and simply, good acidity balance is beautiful and it is a typical example of Fleurie more fruit with the palate but still too and one of the following: 3D for my personal taste as Beaujolais Fleurie. is very good but this style of wine, not my personal taste.85 points

Rita Tua Shiraz 2006

Rita Tua Shiraz 2006
Sorry, I fell unconscious when extended under a heap of tasting notes, but I'm back now, let's say more about it. Instead, let's say a little more about this option, Tua Rita Syrah 2006.

Love affair between myself and the Rita Tua continues, so soft, eschew with Redigaffi sensual I never imagined would be a place in my heart for Rita II.
Tua Rita Syrah 2006, while missing the alter ego of punchy title sister Marlowe, is clearly more extrovert, stylish palate flicks for six and no apology for it. Still it aint.
Tua Rita produces some of the best single varietal wines in Tuscany proving time and again that this region is more varied and Sangiovese. Created in 1984, Rita Tua never courted Sangiovese, 100 m above sea level and rests on clay soil, Cabernet Sauvignon, they right Merleau, like to argue that, while ignoring the typical varieties of grapes local terroir still shone bright mixture in the glass. Maybe a little, but a glass Redigaffi, Syrah or Guisto de Notri, soon to be forgiving, and assertions in the flowery after a bottle you will find yourself completely agree! This bottle of
Tua Rita Syrah 2006 arrived at my door from freezing cold snowy morning March in London South along with the large bottles that will be blogged 11 until this month. I decided to review red charge 12 from 2006, vintage with such mixed reviews, I thought it would be fun to compare, contrast areas from all manufacturers are consistently on the game and the wines that rarely miss them. So how did to Tuscany, Rita Tua fair? The well. Very good. So I think I also actually began with the bottle is best, it could all be downhill from here. Drama, suspense ... I haz it.
-Buying-Rita Tua Syrah 2006 € 2 dark and full of hope, 100Deep, if I fall for wine based on looks alone, and then I like, well, if I could, I would have put a ring on it. Aromatically forward, beautiful with generous comments of blackberries, chocolate, vanilla. On the palate, this wine continues his seduction of chocolate and fruit with hit single that guide full of fruit jammy. Large wine, wine is still part of ??????? balanced perfectly. The winner.Points 98

Islington sample

Islington sample

Islington sample is unlike any wine shop on the island of this exhibition. "not because it makes the most exclusive range (although it does), and because it has a very special offers (that too), even not because the walls are covered with enomatics (like the walls of the sky).

Islington sample is my favourite wine shop in the world because it allows, and even encourages, wine geeks like myself to spend hours upon hours to sample the great wines, genning on Parker, Jancis and performing, most is the new wine, friends. Forget Corkd and Snooth, if you want your chums IRL then head up wine (or down) and make your way in the world of samples of wine as little p 30 sampler.

So, the pre-boot Xmas snowy walk, speak for Islington, train delays and snow ???? myself and wine Sleuth spent three hours to complete our work through excitement 25 + wines from all over the world. Enomatics diverging into areas location and types of grapes which taste correctly, goes red white light and finally to fine wine "serious" or selections, you can in the Middle, amazed by the variety, only regular amble over to the Sangiovese from Vouvray to tour as prisoners to Denise sets the rules for tasting! Shiny how! Tasty examples are available in three different sizes. However certainly good enough for a small, like a variety the spice of life, I recommend sticking to 25 ml and wines as well as 1000 are in the range of rotation, you can return the following month, faced a whole new group of wines. therefore, rule # 1, makes it easier for smaller samples for your money innit.

Rule 2: If somethings worth doing is worth doing it right. fine wines!

Not often passes your eyes over the 1978 Chateau Cheval Blanc but with 1998 Chateau Mouton Rothschild side of it, you must be careful to give all their properties "icons". At any given time there are six "icons", these included these greats and December two plus JL Chave Hermitage Conterno Barolo, 1998, of the Gran Riserva 1997 Bussia, screaming Eagle 1996 and Penfolds book in 1978.

Paolo Scavino Barolo Bric del Fiasc finest wine from the vineyards Scavino seemingly year, but the vintage of the 2004 balance masterclass. it looks as though the real potential of Bric del Fiasc has now realized, a project of over 30 years, I'm looking forward to see if you can raise Scavinos Barolo bar once more-vintage allowance.

Paolo Scavino production has long been a favourite for Piedmont fans know, not just for this top cru Barolo but for all its award winning wines has Barolo dell ' Annunziata Rocche. Scavino now produces 14 different wines that wonderfully to list the Piedmont with the Langhe Dolcetto, Barbera, blends well with some Cabernet Sauvignon Nebbiolo dominated.

Del Fiasc Bric not get close to the price of Gaja star prices, Giacosa Barolo, Voerzio et al. These wines are very sought after, they are often praised in Italy to fight in order to reach our shores and those who are quickly snapped.Bric del Fiasc 2004 Antonio Galloni's Attorney was wine raptures. Top manufacturers of wine vintage heralded is still in relative terms, QPR, hotshot. What is the point of 96 WA Barolo 2004 is still there for under € 60 a bottle?

Why is this so special wine? s cru Barolo wine was produced for the first time in 1978 when the son of Paolo ??????? convinced him that the grapes that particular area should be vinified separately as they are some of the best wine to be sold under its own label cru wine has grown since ??????. Now highlight of French oak is an interesting would be if the amount of the oak and the chapter on the barrel remains constant for future vintages. However, it was, as always, the integration of the grape, vinification vintage vintage of 2004 brought to new heights; this combination also produce a wonderful effect placed with age although not stayed seemed like this already killed a bottle.

Yarden Gewurztraminer

Yarden Gewurztraminer

Yarden Gewurztraminer? Yes. There's something about ?????? spellbinding, it is the old Jewish quarter. A warm summer evening here was I got my first taste of Gewurztraminer strictly and gefilte fish.

I seem fascinated by where I am? Looking off into the distance and wine bar romanticising about my own ??????? Well, the camera
tells lies, cos I really dirty looking feline stray eating fish I throw it not moments before. Ahhhh memories. Gefilte fish, hands down, the food item is the most vile, with strange texture ever put my lips, but a wonderful surprise was the wine.
Now, I don't know you but every time I take a weekend break or holiday I use it as an opportunity to feed my addiction to wine. This not only me, winos so serious. We talk with our partners and offer ?????? "Dordogne" so we slope Bordeaux, or "Tuscany" visit Chianti, even I managed to convince one partner was lovely Frankfurt at this time of year, only to find ourselves sailing down the Rhine, the Festival this year wine Assmanhausen 100! Look how that turned out, I had no idea of. However, I didn't understand this provides an opportunity it ??????. Polish interest in wine, Italian wine grows quickly, especially while I was there in the center of the square (Rynek Glowny) ?????? was already became a fairground for Hungarian wine event, of course, the Jewish quarter was at a restaurant and bar that offers strictly kosher wines. I don't see the Poles are giving up their vodka tastes anytime soon but turn the tide, they're even knocking out some decent wine themselves. If you could set up a wine bar anywhere, I select ??????. dreams ....

Israeli wines were revolutionary, no small part thanks to the Golan Heights (the team behind the Yarden). Israel now creates wonderful QPR wines but not just the usual suspects but also Gewurztraminer, like Cabernet Sauvignon, red international, Syrah, Merlot Noir tour, and, more surprisingly, Sangiovese and Gamay! Whites include Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon, Muscat Blanc, Riesling, sweet whites even Blanc de blancs sparklers. Israel to bring such a variety of fine grapes due to a variety of climatic condition expression, Israel itself takes a large wine way. There's a National Committee of the Israeli wine promotion within Israel, movement to push the country's indigenous grapes. I am afraid not to list them, because I don't know them, I have quite enough to compete in a world of grapes ????? indigenous Italian unless you know them, don't hesitate to send a comment! Doesn't taste this wine like we know all about love Gewurztraminers? In fact, Yes. like most of you, my experience is limited to Germany and Alsace Gewurztraminer with parity in the USA, Italian, New Zealand, from bottle thrown in here and making a terrible difficult to say what Clayton, Galilee region of Gewurztraminer has taste like. However, if this is what it should taste like, I.

The wine is wonderful, and offers up many notes aromatically Gewurztraminer typical including lychee, almonds and flowers, but also unexpected presence of peach blossom. The wine has a sweetness from sites on the palate, but rich with a rigid, rounded acidity, halfway full bodied. This is true not only search let down by the end of a slightly truncated. However, if you keep drinking then you don't notice;)89 points

Sottimano Barbaresco Pajore 2004

Pajore Sottimano Barbaresco 2004

Sottimano Barbaresco Pajore 2004 is one of the wave of wines Barbaresco 2004 fantastic.Sottimano Barbaresco justly lauded circles Barberesco but still stays under the radar here in Britain especially due to the very low distribution. However, Italy, USA Sottimano enjoys a reputation grows with this range of 2006 takes advantage of the next step and their three of Barbaresco holding their heads with the best manufacturers, scooping the scores big with Antonio Galloni in wine advocate.

Generating Sottimano array of wines Barbaresco and some of the others, Curra and certain distribution Fausoni, enjoy here but last night and I thought I got taste Pajore was to be of interest to most readers looking for Wine90 fine wines at bargain prices.

Small production on the borders of Nieve and Barbaresco, Sottimano is one of the fastest production improvement in Piedmont, as still purchase their top Barbarescos prices change cuvee £ 40 and £ 30 changes here and there. Father and son team, Andrea Sottimano create, Reno, long lived hedonistic touches make this Barbaresco wines that surprise with their quality even between bottles a level. Perfectionists, Andrea, Reno produce four very distinct Barbaresco wines that appeal to the old school fans, the school's new Nebbiolo.

The most elegant traditional Pajore is four and traditionalists among justices of pleasant Gambero Rosso as in great vintages Pajore Tre Bicchiere Prize can unscrew them even now. Those preferring Barbaresco less aggressive, floral favor the Fausoni, and these two wines divide Sottimano fans really.Nebbiolo is greater if you like, then extracted is Curra selection of typical American palate (dare I say such a thing!) and finally forbidden is more spicy novel foodies and wine.

Castel de Paolis Muffa Nobile 2005

Castel de Paolis Muffa Nobile 2005

Castel de Paolis Muffa Nobile is one of my personal favorite wines is an Italian wine symbolises the changes (especially the Moon), perhaps the best exemplifies the phenomenal increase in the quality comes to Italy has been to describe areas of mass production and little else.Castel de Paolis is the largest producer of Lazio Castelli Romani came straight, House at Frascati.
Frequent readers of this blog know that I had a wonderful time in Rome two years lived in 2006 and 2007 where at Frascati, an estimate! Approximate!! Approximate!!!Enjoy a large following among the young drinkers of wine production at Frascati. consists of an area outside of Rome, Castelli Romani "," are considered among the Romans and Ex-pats like something serious wine region of the poor with the focus being on quantity only. The Romans 2000 years ago had exactly this view, which at Frascati all wines from this area were solely for the proles.
It is truly amazing, that country so fruitful wine can still be produced through mass regeneration.Area of Castelli Romani was produced wine for 2000 years ago and it still only recently, like many other parts of Italy, is now being considered as a high-quality wine that can't grow only in the last ... 40 years had understood the potential of large parts of Tuscany with planting grapes in Bordeaux (together with Sangiovese) to create the Super-Tuscan. It is remarkable to think so much of the potential growth of the vine, Italy is still not yet untapped. These are exciting times indeed for the Italian wine.

Muffa Nobile Castel de Paolis is close to the wines at Frascati you know and love, made from 80% is Semillion and 20% Sauvignon Blanc with completely unaffected by Botrytis, grapes here, in the back yard of great emperors, you have a sweet wine that can compete with many Barsac and Sauternes, of course, half the price.

De Paolis themselves are considered light Castel leading edge at Frascati, led the charge to bring the wines of Lazio international arena. Also here all the wines are cultivated harvesting.
This is not exciting? Are you not amused?Castel de Paolis

???? Kuenhof Riesling Isarco Kaiton

The world of blogging and wine can be fickle mistress, one day you're flooded in enotecas for your signature, cheered and gave back a slap, next you attacked with Yunnan Parma (on the bone) for dismissing a grape of beloved paisans. many of you know, my geekery wine is not a formal, I actually blown full net nerd paid work in SEM/SEO, that little talent helped raise this blog and the keyword Italian Riesling and continues to the top of the Google ranking for my bitter combined raspberry Italian Riesling to cheer at the top of my list of e-complaint.

So, only two years later, after the series one, number of abuse, I decided to write about another Italian Riesling, this one, Kuenhof ???? Isarco Riesling Kaiton from Alto Adige is a thing of scrumdiddly (winespeak "with prevailing today anything from Franken").

Estate Kuenhof, run by Peter Pliger Brigitte is located outside the town Brixen (70% of cities they speak German) or Bressanone shall we call it and only short distance from the border of the Austrian .4 this ha vineyard in South Tyrol has the honour of producing wines of Italy. Therefore, wines on the estate Kuenhof are only in Italian, growing grapes varieties postcode that you would expect from the Austrian vineyards along the way. Strangely, the grapes do not respect international borders, so it came to pass that part of the fair value of the worlds greatest Gruner Veltliners, Rieslings, Gewurztraminers Sylvaners, arrive in this part of the Alto Adige/Südtirol and estate Kuenhof.

Kuenhof ???? Isarco Riesling Kaiton, like all the wines from the estate of this tiny Kuenhof is manufactured in small numbers. considering the quality of this wine will create a small scale are vehemently decreasing these wines. Sylvaner (as you can guess) has the largest production, but still came in at just under 11,000 bottles per year. The wines are also with the Gambero Rosso calendar year with the Sylvaner, take the Tre Bicchiere, still we made the change from 20 € 2? You can buy wine directly on each vineyard for closer to the mark € 10.

Therefore, to Kuenhof ???? Isarco Riesling Kaiton itself at the beginning of the week I was in Venice., together with a shared a bottle of vintage man of ' 08 was sitting next to the bridge of Rialto during journeys on risotto seafood like mosquitos, in turn, fed me I am sure the location late evening sun helped but it maybe was elegant Riesling wine, the most pure, lengthy already had a particular zone. Nobody has made me say that.Honest.No one.

Bright golden color in a focused, two glass. wine with some remarks in mineral, and even slightly Peel on the nose, palate is clarified., coating with a long finish. This is one of those wines which is almost one a bit 3D but not this one dimension so good a good thing!(That makes sense)90 points

Skinner Matt 2010 juice

Skinner Matt 2010 juice

Skinner Matt 2010 juice is no ordinary wines book. Skinner Matt has created a new type of wine handbook that has been sadly missing from the UK and one all wine the avid fan (who shops at the supermarket!) be none.
How many times have you gone to a local supermarket or one of the chains (Majestic, Threshers, the WineRack etc) and get off at once with the right of a troll? Aint "hit miss N" even close to cover it, right?
Be praise even then, for this book.Skinner Matt 2010 juice is this release of years (5th) by which the Australian professional wine * pleasant Matt Skinner puts together a detailed list of 100 wines, easily sourced UK save you shoot a real pocket, put an end to feeling you get when you exhale disappointing sinking of crystal-clear £ 20 in Sainsburys only to the wash basin precious red ????? tears.
I'm already back in the United Kingdom only one year, I can say that I have tried to about half of these wines and then agree on the most part with the most select audio of most of these. manufacturers of those, probably tried several wines too so it's nice to see such a degree of familiarity with the producers representing even if it does not always promote the "usual suspects" in the sense of varietal. They are all here, Jacobs Creek, Peter Lehmann, Dr Loosen, Cloudy Bay, Mount Wither, Casillero del Diablo, but even some store brands make the list and these wines are usually under a £ 10 this book gave me a lot of wines go to run up to Christmas.
Split categories 20, Matt gave tips about different types of wines, from top £ 20 + wines, organic wine, wines through the pairing of food, half-bottles, least known grapes., Matt also supports the home team with a review of the shimmering of the chapel down Brut but you can't help but wonder recruitment of Australian wines in this book.

Italian wine like "blog" is a wine of the year Matt is, of course, a number of Italian Chianti Classico, Castellare di Castellina 2007 but besides this one third each of its recommendations are Australia. it is true to say that some of our lazy of UK supermarkets, at first glance looks stock 50% Syrah Australian but this slant Australian books a touch too extreme for my tastes.
If you frequently like walnut wine myself buy 100 + different bottles a year so I doubt this is the book to teach you something new I recommend this book to people just getting into wine or who buy their wines at the most supermarkets. My own wine buying habits is but you can see in this appealing to those new to wine or make a great Christmas present for a relative who is a casual wine fan.

Note: this recently came to light that many of the wine values in this book were not tried first by Matt before, this has led into a roar in the world of wine and led me personally many complaints about even reviewing this book at all I want to mention that I don't approve of recommending all wines simply because they were good in previous vintages. apparent change quality wines vintage vintage and the development of their own to leave them toward the bottle during the phases of a fool for a long time. Vinoteca Farringdon

Vinoteca Farringdon

Restaurant Vinoteca in Farringdon was my walking to distinguish for the exhibition a few months now I have spent many hours already ... so here for 3-4 months and my experiences often tweeted that kinda bonkers because this is the first citation Wine90 blog.

Vinoteca is one of those wine bars that due to sheer variety of wines on offer, becomes the perfect stop for your lunch hour or for a mid afternoon wine by the glass or even ministers pre-dinner. Nevertheless, it took me a year full of mine hometown of London, get my rags rejoiced to eat here.

It's confession time I often don't write restaurant reviews. I find myself crippled with his affliction, the same who hit my partner in the dining room that evening, I'm going to call collywobbles palate. As she became nervous of course on all flights of wine pre-dinner, fearing I bent her note on their hands, in the same way, begin to doubt my own palate and a description of them, when it comes to food.

This may shock some readers, but I was already eating food since I was a toddler, that I'd like to taste the food, the ability to mine I calmed my friend, is a ridiculous just like the fear that it may taste the wines are incorrectly. as long as you have four of the five senses your working for you on any given day, you can taste the wine. Even I draw the line at listening to the wine, but if you hear of whistling or look easy to your wine, then you're probably a little air is pouring consult your GP.

So the scene is set, Vinoteca, flights of wine, wine tasting and meal complete, Virgin as follows in the dining room, well we are good so far?Excellent.

For all self confessed novice wine Vinoteca makes your life easier. adjusting the wine and food can be a fun games to play but if you get it wrong, you're stumping up plenty o pound your food, can be a risky game. afraid. At Vinoteca are all meals on the menu must be paired with a carefully thought out vulnerabilities offer glass. However, as a quick game, wild, 280 of strong by selection Vinoteca bottle I too tempting to join what I did for a very fairly priced Riserva of Barolo Borgogno 01. any unexpected behavior on my part. This is not like

of Tarantino Movie, let's review the wine food in chronological order.

Before selecting a wine dinner

You can view all wines by the glass here's Vinoteca.I chose;

Schloss Vollrads Erstes Gewachs Riesling 2004
Inside the glass color gold radiates. On the nose with a fast ????? acres hotel, honeysuckle, peach on initial sniffing with honey aroma over time towards the end on the palate the wine is rich., juicy, tropical than expected quite fat starts out ... with rushing acid saying that just before the finish fair continues this tropical theme. Texture color palate Rhinegau but?!Not a typical maybe but fun.Points 87

Monte Bernardi Chianti Classico 2005
Deep ruby-red. rim with cherry nose, simple profile straight and expected a little dusty, but also with hints of chocolate, coffee or be luxurious, cherry Bakewell tart-cappuccino with vanilla sprinkles. the same approach focused on the palate, definite Chianti complex high, but no firm tannins, acid, in the middle of bodied with a balanced finish.Points 88

La Guita Manzanilla
Bright golden green colour but gets a touch of these "after that of primes" you get when your ministers this month is just too long in the tooth.Still retained a large salt flavours on the palate, nut.On the nose from hotel, hints of lemon grass, has been focus has a touching ... maybe due to old or a.n.other malfunction every month? Therefore do not rate the wine.

Food

I like to think of myself as a fairly modest, at least in the world of wine.World Food however I know very well what I want, and this ...

The generous
Fresh ingredients
Flavors and textures that compliment one another
Finally, I hate, detest with passion, dry food or too ... too humid.

I'd give him Vinoteca, there are so many restaurants to double as wine, wine bars, like eating twice attempts to apply far short life is red, but it's embarrassing.Food outshone the wine.Food outshone the Barolo. Italian wine Blogger says that Food @ Vinoteca outshone of Barolo. This is huge news.

To begin: selection of Spanish cured meats, almonds & olives-£7.25
Full-sized Board deals with typical Spanish meat really well with paired. Ministers were cuts too oily, which you can find restaurants in London, presented well.

Main course: Gressingham duck breast & trompettes, chanterelles, cimi di farro rape-£ 16
Duck breast with most succulent jus mop-up-able in a long while and was already generous portions, introduced well again.
Was no room for dessert. "I don't think I ever said or written these words before. weird.
Borgogno Barolo Riserva 2001
Classic red Ruby yellow fade even violet rim. with sweet touches the Marzipan, asphalt, wild strawberries, even slightly, still young ... the palate is still touching tannic bitter but loosening over time. freshness good here according to the balance between power and elegance which displayed the last as the evening wore direction. not blow me away but still full of 90 points for my palate.

Dover Street Restaurant London

Dover Street Restaurant London

Rarely I moved I write reviews in the restaurant. My hesitancy stems partially my fear foodies, but mainly because although the texture, color and presentation put me out of my grub. I eat everything.Besides, egg shells, fish bones there I made the entire thrust of my dish. However, on one hand, my experience at Dover Street Restaurant may be about to change all this.

Before we get about it, I must say, the wine list was really terrible, as was the music bar ??"?'??" (of guilt on Boogie, like prayer not relaxed dining experience to become) a star shining one was light's trained for wines-Pouilly-Fumé ???? Dagueneau. I ordered two bottles, one of the other food to numb the pain.

OK OK I shall be fair, except for numbers from disco, wine lists, threats that have been forced to sit in a corner behind a pillar; the food was delivered with a smile and no MIME inevitable pepper mill near, everything was good. Better. Pocket, considering we pound the location in the Green Park, this must be one of the best meals I had was for under £ 30 per head.

But I say that here all the dishes are excellent, my partner in the dining room was lavishing praise on the Lamb Roast, I found myself enjoying my first course than my main. Perhaps because I was hungry grin or maybe because the street speaks wonderfully fresh salmon gravadlax, seasoned to perfection with Louisa, brandy, mustard, was quite simply, the best salmon I've ever. The main course, Roast duck, also had excellent foot with a strong sweet orange sauce, as well as wonderfully and braised parsnips potato and butter.

Food aside, this strange place Street Dover. strange not bad.Well not really strange strange. Squatting on one of the richest areas in these elegant surroundings, you (the street!) into a cave art deco style that will be an intimate were it was huge. Where old timers playing jazz classics to relax and enjoy cocktails while or first sips of Pouilly rest, and then, peace and quiet, with the last sax cultivars in the air, they ?????? out classics disco during your while you are on the main and the date your catch your own mime and get an overview of the near good one anothers ... main courses in situ.

My favorite room in the evening was also coming in my table to find the Italian Commission for the sliced meat (or so I assume!) was located in an information leaflet on page 8, mortadella prosciutto, another patch of hams ... believe me, there are many, on my desk.Stranger still, none of them are not on the menu!

I get the feeling that the Dover Street Restaurant and Bar Jazz knows exactly what he wants to be when it grows is divine oscillates between the number of times a ridiculous throughout the evening. What this place is really fun.Who says that eating is not recommended to keep you on your toes?So what if only one bottle of wine in good ... at least one right exists? If the food is excellent and the price is fair, who cares if people are sitting in their crotches, moonwalking after your table? not I.

Serge Dagueneau Pouilly rest 2008-buying-£ 10
Zippy little wine, fresh ????? than flinty on the nose and a really nice way to cut-and-mustard salmon. pH, gave the palate with a few comments PEAR with hotel, lime finish strong rear.. upper wine QPR real ratings.90 points.

Hugh Johnson's Pocket Wine Book 2010

Pocket wine book Hugh Johnson 2010
Hugh Johnson Pocket wine book 2010 was put under the door of my week, the latest Olympics in one of the most popular annual wine guides of the United Kingdom. The guide is packed with everything you need to know about manufacturers, grape types, the best vintages, where wines are prepared for consumption, etc., really great food guide accompaniments. However, unless you have a thin, freakishly long "pockets" you can't really read this Pocket Guide. You can read the same handbag or a book-sized manbag wine but I doubt that people at Mitchell Beazley is about to change the name because we had me petition them?
If the wine enthusiast who has not heard of Hugh Johnson and only one of his books I would be amazed. Hugh is behind including this annual wine pocket book, Atlas of the world of wine wine several bibles (with ja-*), helps wine Hugh Johnson.

What sets apart from other accessory Pocket guide is Hugh himself. Read the foreword to get a real feeling of Hugh and his priorities to its wine has a deep concern about the EUs interference and understood and with time honoured our passion. Having spent time talking to myself producers Herron last year as of France, as well as the rest of Europe, the Government's attempts to install a common type of prohibition are causing concern for drinkers manufacturers alike.
Hugh also gave us, in this release, a little something more. Best wine list that he tried to 12 months. Of course, we have all our palates and our taste buds will not work along the line our pockets of Hugh or as deep, but at least he select wines of excellence within the varietal wine making of it, for wine enthusiasts whose tastes that are broad these tips be much appreciated. The real winning formula
behind this book is not just of the Chairman of the information and experience but ease of use. Starting with the easy to read tables the advanced axis, concise description of the varieties of grapes, the best part is, in my opinion the humble, matching food guide. I found many pocket guides that this information is essential to completely omitted, but in this book examine any number of types of food and meals, and several options for accompanying wines, including cheese, vegetarian plates. There is only one problem with this, Hugh. This is the wrong way around. Like wine-o, there are countless wine bottles lying around and I want to know what food I should be buying for my wines, wine is not what I'd have to buy my food! For my first thought evening parties is "my wine which is at the peak of her now", and then you can build a meal around it. First, a second food and wine!
As Italian wine enthusiast, this guide, like all General wine guides, not bursting with Italian focused information. It covers the usual suspects as well as a variety of grapes also manufacturers, covering only the vintages of Piedmont, Tuscany so directs of hard cheese to any person in love Amarone (which is perfectly integrated and lesbians, wine/cheese) for this type of information have buy Gambero Rosso. This book tells me, Sarah Newton, already don't know anything about the Italian wine but as me to drink wine from around the world will be the first book I if I had a quick question about what to adjust with the Côte-Rôtie mine this weekend.
Even if you have ' 09 Guide, you must upgrade, you have a vintage and listings you see in the last year, but also every year book cover new areas of wine making in more detail. There may be between the few, but in fact I want to know whether Romania and China they produce better wines!
This book is perfect for the serious wine drinker, but when the kick to rank for "geek" does not cover everything but this is why it is called Pocket Guide and Pocket Guides around the smart money is on the yew-. simply replace around matching food, add guides vintage Sicily, Veneto book 2011 please Mr. Johnson.

Vacqueyras 2006

Vacqueyras 2006

Vacqueyras, one of the South that baby Ron Chateauneuf du Pape wines begins to compete as II of Gigondas wine region. Now starting to move away from a rustic, coarse, Vacqueyras is taken seriously by producing more and more visits quite alike. No, but with the prevailing today, Gigondas price difference between the two is naked with Dear Vacqueyras wines (like the two listed below) are available for around £ 15, you can pay double this figure similar high quality Gigondas.

2006 Vintage is interesting for South Herron, suffering (or kapha, depending on whether you sell, grow or drink) must be between two top class vintages. If you are in the wine industry or cowl large wine for you to know about the hype around the Chateauneuf du Pape, 2007. Anything bad CnDP, Gigondas, Vacqueyras wines 2006 as they offer exceptional value now (something like the principle of Bordeaux ' 04 but really only between wines from the best manufacturers).

Typically, Vacqueyras is quite easy to distinguish with wine from most manufacturers in the area, even those that have heavy into bio-dynamie, eager to keep on yin faithful to historical roots. Wines always was a dusty Vacqueyras, tannic, strong, but as this style more outside shooting and with two prestigious fashion very fashionable neighbors Cheateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras would pave a new road for itself and for manufacturers of two review here today, Montirius ?????-Fils both tries but in different ways.Although there are already two style, biodynamic wine producers to appeal both to two different types of Vacqueyras drinker.

This is not the first time I tried already the Garrigues 2006 Vacqueyras Montirius calendar.Bruce Berry wine appeared, Rudd sponsorship event Twitter Live Taste and went down a storm, the wine was full of cherries, ???????, vanilla walls but here was three months later and this Vacqueyras and pleasant complex and expression was green within three months, perhaps in the case of evolution ... a bottle, bottle or fault of type, if you believe such things, maybe he was "Veggie day" *

I gave Montirius 2006 Garrigues Vacqueyras, 91 points on his last August are. Now it appears at the end of November has changed completely, my score in each window that descends also drink. Keep in mind as you read this review that wine may only be entered phase that drinks, fine prestigious Montirius, Vacqueyras wine, actually consistently one of the best of the same kind produced every year.

Montirius Vacqueyras 2006 Garrigues-BUY (but don't drink today!)-£13.50
Deep ruby red in the glass.70% Grenache and 30% Syrah fruit was a difficult day ????? from nose however keep wine region with notes of wild life and dusty, bitter ripe raspberries on combination. In mid-bodied, wine is green, tannic, austere on the palate with a finish in the middle of a good structure and length. but under ripe taste is magic.84 points

Perrin-Vacqueyras Les fils Christins 2006-buying-£12.65
Ruby Red in color. wine offers a jelly-like smell quickly with tread, vanilla sweet Blackberry unhide an interesting comment on the nose on the palate the wine is ... some with fine tannins very pleasant stiffness, well rounded wine Ron, if you do not have to pay a blind, this wine as Vacqueyras .89 points

There is a theory that slowly, year, wines become more and more alike, not simply because of modern technology does wine is available to everyone, techniques/information more easily shared but because wine manufacturers play for points (visiting), try to contact the palate "international" (all this is what). this danger for AOC Vacqueyras if they like and want your ?????????????? wines to reflect ?????? ground/climate change, to taste the way they have done for generations. However, if you are a producer in a luxury like Herron but as unknown (the public) as the Vacqueyras, you might be persuaded to commercially produce wine of all Ron, refer to the mass market.

If you know that you love, you're not a super hero ???????? about each bottle must be clean and obvious example of its exact AOC and then Perrin & Fils of fits you better, and easier to drink, but it is not clear the obvious Vacqueyras of Ron with a nice price tag too.
If you want a real example of Vacqueyras or something to hold on to what you see the true potential of Vacqueyras and then go to the Montirius.

Where can I buy these wines?
These two wines available Bruce Berry, Rudd.

Chianti Classico 2006

Chianti Classico 2006

2006 was a wonderful year Chianti, Tuscany in General. Once was, in Tuscany, is 55 Tre Bicchiere awards while consensus is usually King of Italian wine making areas, Piedmont, was just 52 prosperity. In Italy, sales of Chianti are on the rise, international and demand of Chianti Classico which is now world renowned for offering a wonderful image has shed a QPR covered/tourist. difficult to generalise vintage over a wide area as these wines of Chianti but high alcohol, good acidity, with a fine tannic structure and age.

2006 considered vintage of Chianti Classico second best in the past 15 years, he comes two years after vintage, 2004. as happens often when you have a great vintage, vintage glossy II in quick succession to offer those who want to invest in options for wine is often forgotten in the great Sangiovese, and even outside the Brunello di Montalcino managed one of the four ageing, the wine can be drunk in this beautifully in 2016 and some even perhaps until 2030.

Reliable producers of Chianti Classico, excellent

Wine of the year Wine90

Wine of the year Wine90

If you are a member of each of the panels larger wine message you saw the threads and slow "wine of the year" populate them at this time of year. Inspired by the partially necessary annual Top 100 party Wine Spectator but also that these topics should probably embrace man; need category, files, or rate experience. This phenomena is clearly in the story of countless year shows that dominate the TV listings around this time (sports personality of the year award, comedy, music, etc.) will recount the year is not less common between us wine drinkers.
This "wine year selection" is a very personal interest for some, their. wine of the year to be connected to a special memory of marriage, birth of a new date with love, or wine they celebrated their first birdie (or in my case also making par). My choice for the wine year is sentimental similarly but except personal life events.
I have a great wine, great wine, it really is more than just taste, color or aroma, more even than the combination of these. wine has to feel well, and it is fully grasped nothing more difficult to assess. Sure would be of the highest quality attainment for unforgettable finish but with all the great wine is the key to achieve perfect balance, balance the skills of the winemaker together with perfect and the quality fruit year must come together in perfect harmony.
When this happens, you have a really wonderful wine and me only one contender in the year my tasting Amarone della Valpolicella Romano-Del Forno 1996.
Not even within the area of traditional Classico, Dal Forno is still King and associate Amarone. Production Amarone other such mystery driver pull off palate fruits. The new workers employed oak, ripe fruit and skill in creating a balance by Dal Forno enables winemakers meet alone at the top of the production Amarone and, as you can imagine, such attention to detail was cheaper for the consumer. Like aside, I did last week (wine shall remain useless) was never exactly, and when I'm going to bang on the money just like Cif (Jif everyone over 30).
Although wine is not actually a day 350 end, I sampled this wine in January 2009, despite numerous competitors that it is a wine that I could recount with pinpoint clarity, an experience that I remember always my wine of the year 2009.If someone wants to test it in theory I am available for more Dal Forno tastings every time and everywhere.Romano Dal Forno Amarone della Vapolicella 1996-buying-350A thick dark green £ purple, just only fade is lighter on the rim. This is a wonderful nose. Until dry Creek without extensive

Until dry Creek without extensive

The world of wines ?????? is large, varied, daunting and even with my official AVA maps and guides that I still find myself lost in a sea of sheltered valleys, ???????, a handful of wine should bloggers out there who really know their Oak Knoll Oakville from their high Valley and Hames Valley, all this week as they are already offering Italian wine Blogger in my tips no less confusing but infinite when the subject you selected for the 10; Italian vino.

So much I was happily received an invitation to attend an event of the Wine Institute of California official media first Hoxton societal Thursday to get to taste the different varieties are coming out of California that are available in the United Kingdom. To speak with this apparently has drop-off to the real problems getting a drink in the middle of the range of an attractive wine ?????? but no problem at all and those with 3 for flower Hill wines/Gallo 10.

It is impossible to generalise when it comes to wine ?????? honestly. A huge area and 4 only to Italy, France and Spain in terms of growth in the region, has a climate very changeable oil and North to South, the coast mountains also make this possible generalisations about vintage grapes sizes change like the Dickens!

There is a lot that comes out of six California Chenin was five years ago, the vines have sprouted up tour Grigio 480% at the same time. Pinot Noir, Syrah vines are planted in recently, they have torn the traditional Zinfandel. However by we come to associate with the California continue to flourish, even with this 12 small sample wines from Thursday evening we can see that the Sauvignon, Merlot wines ??????, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc continue to prosper real quality is priced mid range.

Foradori Granato 2004

Foradori Granato 2004

2004 Granato's Foradori is the first wine of Trentino to make the blog Wine90. probably not too surprising, there are only two mansions in this Italian province north eastern continuously make out the top-level vino.

If you're a fan of the Italian wine, Ferrari Foradori probably heard, Tenuta San Leonardo but otherwise was not much to shout about.

Tarantino, traditionally, is the amount with the highest yields in Italy North which is seldom statistic matched by quality.

But what of the saviours of the area and what it is, Foradori Granato, not just (in) the areas best red wine but also its best exponent of the areas finest indigineous Teroldego grape,?

This was once a little grape beloved in Italy, but like so many of its indigenous grapes was slipping into Cambodia ????? until duration with brilliant Midas touch. A grape that owes its popularity to refound Elisabetta Foradori indomitable. She was alone responsible for the resurgence of this fairly tannic, full of flavours of red.Often compared to Zinfandel, recently it was proved that one of the parents of Teroldego is actually a Syrah.

It is located at the foot of the alps in Tarantino even though, within vineyards Foradori over deposits, gravel, carefully hand Elisabetta Teroldego found its expression in this largest and most exciting thing about ... focus on wines are such stories. each year a different varietal ?????? about important is an area in times gone by-falling nearly there, only to be returned to life once again. It's time for exciting story of Italian wine, Elisabetta, while unusual, dedicated repeat in each area of Italy. There seems to be an underground society for the revival of indigenousness grapes in Italy; simply forgot to send my pass word press.

The wine itself is unique, while the US wine bloggers love to draw comparisons I am going to resist the temptation to not do a disservice by wine. wine is elegant manufactured under specific conditions difficult with a few colleagues to guide the path of Elisabetta.

Granato 2004 of Foradori-buying-£ 35
Deep ruby red, bouquet of wine is a blend of tobacco tar, graphite, packed with beautiful oak depends on the balance, but also fruit forward with Granato notes of Orange, cocoa powder, spice. nose really is to highlight its unique quality and gives the wine on the palate. that Granato displays well, dense tannins stiffness, fine finish silky with satisfaction offering dark Cherry, plum/ending with some herbaceousness. I understand that a lot of properties for wine but it is really something else!94 points

Although you can certainly perform well, this will be a wine which divides opinion so great wino or dinner party wine. wine is to take away your best wine snobs, and for those with. If a person selects a blind wine that they should immediately be cut as your group's new Jancis.

La Brancaia IL Blu 2006

La Brancaia IL Blu 2006

La Brancaia IL Blu 2006 is one of the best Super Tuscan wines around and reputation grows not stay in my QPR doozy out over time. Vintage of 2006 is magnificent. A wonderful year of Merlot grape in Italy, which has provided little supple knock out punch for other big red La Brancaia Ilatraia,.Typically, these vintage after vintage wines can be separated two barely are both with very different flavor profiles. However, the year baby giraffes IL Blu is a bottleneck in advance, with 96 points, Tre Bicchiere Galloni Prize, I had to get this vintage wine years and see if justified this stonking rating.

Switzerland are owned by La Brancaia fine Chianti Classico foremostly, and, like many other Tuscan estates with liberty of Chianti, near their attention to the cheaper, Maremma style Bordeaux wines begin to produce Super Tuscan. These wines are nowadays still wowing visitors a little out of fashion. in noughties question know still swear by the Tuscan Super often rivalling, often surpassing quality Bordeaux frequently for a fraction of the price. The interesting thing about IL Blu, 50% Sangiovese, 45% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon wine is that it wasn't really from the Maremma but mature within the jurisdiction of the Chianti.

Great thing about this, it is still possible to find this wine that for under £ 40. Wine 96 points in a very few £ 40 and many are between especially from such famous. Although I am not really impressed, I pushing 96 unique barrier bar, I gladly awards this wine 95 points, rubber stamp shop.

As frequent readers of this blog, for 3 years 4 living in Italy, was one of the best things about this, check out people, countryside, food, wine, via these 4 ???????? were often married. We spent many evenings and Friday at Agriturismo bars and restaurants, where to eat local produce from the farm to work, many of them were not only farms, restaurants but also hotels too.In La Brancaia also take a vacation with a stunning location, great food and wine, of course, and set yourself right in the heart of the beautiful Italian wine holiday.Check it out here.

Back to the God of wine and I poured it popped. Brancaia IL Blu 2006 on Sunday, to be honest, it was a good 5 years too early, La Brancaia wines. except for Chianti Classico is accessible to the surprisingly young, should be given at least 5 years all ??????. Nevertheless, it was clear to see that it was very very special wine after a long breath, I can say, for 2009 so far, because it's the best wine of the year QPR. If you like wines to ask, if you're into Bordeaux you ask, if you sell wine collection of space ... you look this. If a fall ?????, point pistol on my head, forced me to choose one wine to try to please the palate ... Select wine.

Food match: duck, venison or ions.

Best wines from this Producer: excellent consistently within their varietal. Chianti Classico

Chateau Haut-Bages Averous Pauillac 2001

Chateau Bages Averous Oh Pauillac 2001

Since 1978 (two years before I landed) famous Chateau Lynch-Bages has already generated "Averous" like the second label of rolling out 10,000 cases of the year property. The second label is the consumer the opportunity to taste the wine gives Cinquièmes Cru prestigious without breaking the Bank. However, even with the second label (label and sometimes III) sharing location close to the class property, and input from Cru of these wines in their famous winemakers rarely live up to the names of their fathers lauded. Not so with
Averous, candle holder in certain vintages flaming red hot Lynch Bages, certainly 2001 vintage has the class, color, texture, the nose you want from the top of the class Pauillac.
In Chateau Bages Averous o 2001, currently sell with Virgin wines at £ 27 we have wine/vintage Claret is very good in less than half the price of Bages Lynch, as well as a great point its curve of drinking.
Chateau Lynch Bages-itself, it's because the failings of 1855, but the fact that the property growth fifth spot in wine classification that falls in a well of pedigree obvious châteaux.

So what should you expect from Pauillac wine? For those who don't know Pauillac is famous for the zone in Bordeaux for top quality production.Home to the first three of the five Bordeaux ??????? Mouton Rothschild, Latour, Lafite Rothschild Pauillac is considered a jewel in the Crown's red Bordeaux. even within different very well itself there is the quality of the wine with "Pauillac" alone on the label without quality assurance but certainly a promise of price.
Just north of St Julien (frequent readers to know who is my favorite Bordeaux area) of the best wines of Pauillac in many ways similar to those of Julien St but real examples of chips to carry a clear comments cigar box, blackcurrent or pencil. I'm sure the reader aware of first growth rates currently attached, but in case not 2001 checked what or noticed fall our miserable pound sign, and then ask the brown paper bag is ready before moving to the next paragraph.
Rare Bordeaux Wine90 cover, but I was so impressed with this £ 27 Bages Averous 2001 Chateau Oh threats typically range in all Virgin wines which worked on I feel the need to tell all members of the Virgin finally have top quality Bordeaux buy for their subscription. Pauillac Premier Cru Class from Lafite vintage 2001 will set you back £ 365 per bottle. If I had the choice between 12 bottles Averous 1 bottle Lafite I select Lafite but I'm a snob. The smart money is on Averous.
Chateau Bages o Averous Pauillac 2001-buying-slightly darker in color £ 27Still by orange hue. Rim clear on the nose this wine pure poetry, Pauillac is delightful as the wine even as I had my way wafted in 6 months.Blackberries, cedar, Super ripe.Palate, the wine was still fairly tannic but end the firm with the fruit is very fair and full period duration. A in the middle of that guide wine need only 15 minutes of the bottle.89 points

I haven't seen another wine writer to rank so high so I'm out on limbs here, but the man they call them you see them, I think that you have reached the peak of wine 2001. I any other highly recommends, (or anyone actually!) reads this blog please come out, try this wine and if you're not blow away, well, I'll send you a copy of the new book the Chairman Johnson at Mitchell Beazley good people have sent me a review next week so until the next time, treat yourself ... and each other.
