In the middle of a beautiful black on the nose the wine was all orange creme smoke even.I like Orange pudding ?????? of this wine palate sorts. is thick and heavy pretty rounded, with a long finish showstopping. Niiiiiiice.95 points
JL Chave Hermitage Rouge 1998
A lighter touch than expected but still Ruby Red crowded though 11 years.On the nose acres of spice, smoke, olives, bushes.Palate shows outstanding balance with full mouthfeel rounded, smooth and pleasant tannic, but still.Super powerful, thick from the beginning to the end lingering.94 points
Gilet Vouvray 1976
A deep golden color, aromatically. expression with nut profile on the palate the wine ??????. reminded me very Lyons golden syrup drizzled over the Kelloggs ?????? nut full bodied with Corkflakes. hints of Marmalade on desert glass finish. This is morbid, but not sweet.93 points
Chateau Cheval Blanc 1976
Red Garnet tinging a brick on the rim of the desert. as with any other notes of cherries and glazed, tobacco, Marzipan. today still amazingly vibrant on the attack but the hollow midpalate comes with flavours with keeping your knees on the back end.94 points

A holiday is always a chance to try new wines and find many mad passion new varities. I had a very Tuscan/Umbrian new year with lots of IGT Umbrian wines show where you can report the following entry to drink during the year what/Xmas? these wines also comments on appreiciated.
